James D. Burns

James D. Burns is originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. He attended Brooklyn College and the University of California at Berkeley and received his degree in economics in 1978. He moved permanently to California in 1985 and married the following year.
Jim joined the company in 1986 and began a practice in retirement planning. Recognizing early the need for stability and security in his retired clients’ lives, he has been a long-time advocate of income and insurance planning. Using a combination of fixed and variable annuities with living benefit guarantees and long-term care insurance programs, he has helped his clients plan for their retirements through difficult times for over 25 years!
Jim became a member of Wealth Management Strategies to improve service and increase the resources available to his clients. It has proven to be a good decision.
